MIss Disa's AEP class 23-24

Season 3 : Episode 1 🎀  Thursday, February 15th 2024  Tick, tock, tick, tock...  At this time around, we have reached the last and final season of Anis' AEP Diaries as she makes her way to *drumrolls* graduation! What a long, long way it has been. I would like to give a pat on the back to all students who have made it through the last term because it goes without saying we were all in a pit! On our plates, we had stem congress, musical (the president of making everyone's schedule busy), exams, volleyball games and so much more in between.  In our last classes, AEP acted as a "brake" for us lot who is full speeding all term long. As a result of that, classes have been more lenient as we step away from the academic syllabus and engulfed ourselves in the world of origami and speeches!  Season 2 : Episode 5  🎀  Thursday, February 15th 2024  In the midst of a crazy maze towards the end of term two, numerous signs have emphasized on the importance of taking a break.  Nothing more, nothing less, we jogged our brains by playing squardle in which surprisingly we had found multiple bonus words, yeay! I am pretty sure that we have gone through enough word games to be granted the title of “master of English” – I am not joking.  Our recent class in AEP this Wednesday could be categorized as wrap up and zip your luggage class as we are finally accumulating and appling all the acquired skills in previous lessons. Other than the fact that the essay we had written completely obliterated our precious 15 minutes as everyone in the class had an existential crisis, I particularly enjoyed it.   Season 2: Episode 4 🎀  Thursday, February 2nd 2023  Unfortunately, with a heavy heart, I announce that I still am backtracked from school work (that includes AEP).  For most, blogging seems to be a routine that could potentially be seen as a matter that is far more than tedious. But, I for one have a biased liking to it. Many do ask me why I love writing – though of course, many other people are excellent at it. As for me, I prefer the wind to sweep me away and lead me to any path it desires.  Back in the old days when the motivation to write started to bubble up in me, I would have always grabbed a random journal, or even opened up a fresh Google document to spill my thoughts into. Now that blog in AEP exists, it has truly become the place where I consider it my diary. Sometimes the things I wrote won’t even relate to AEP (apologies Ms. Disa, I am an over-sharer).  Scrabble.  Season 2: Episode 2 🎀  Friday, 1st December 2023  The more and more the “highschool finish line” is nearing, the smaller I feel myself shrinking into this box labeled childhood that you neatly keep in your attic. AEP this term hasn’t only been a learning curve guided by a set syllabus, but is now an opportunity for us to discover ourselves.  Recently, we were guided into building a coherent and quality university application where we assess the common mistakes that can easily be made. Grammar and syntax should be flawless and use of language needs to show a satisfactory level. Every single year, the number of students in the applicant pool increases, which makes it important for my application to stand out. 🎀 Season 2: Episode 1 🎀  Friday, 1st December 2023  “Avoiding Rudeness”.  Sometimes when we speak, we fail to recognize or acknowledge the words that come out of our mouth. If you think about it, we speak to communicate – we speak to express. However, there are myriads of aspects that we tend to overlook when doing so which includes our tone and use of language. Admittedly, speaking towards the people who we consider as family and friends my come off as easy, considering that it happens almost like it’s our second nature. Be that as it may, speaking formally towards the people outside of our intermediate circle could pose as a challenge.  Especially in this 21st century where our lives are pretty much dominated by technology, there is an increase use of electronic applications in where we communicate using a digital platform.     🎀  Season 2: Episode 1  🎀  Friday, 1st December 2023  Safe to say that term two has been going on exactly the way that I did not plan. Why you may ask? In total, I have missed out on almost all AEP classes this term. I did still involve some self-blaming for not being able to catch up with the pace of the school due to my absences, but because I understood how important mindsets are, I’ve begun to look at it with a different perspective. It’s truly alright to be on a different path than everyone else because we all are different. There should be an ideal recommendation on a certain path that can merely act as a guide, but there shouldn’t be one that you must completely follow even if it goes against your natural likings.
