AEP-Blog #3

 Back again with another blog!

So remember when I said we will be doing our vocab quiz this week? Yea, that got cancelled and moved to another lesson, which I'm quite thankful for because I barely studied for it at all. So instead of a vocab quiz Ms Disa gave us a game day! Though I have to admit I wasn't really feeling it at the time, Ms put us in groups and made my group play griddle first while the other played scrabble. Perhaps I was less enthusiastic for this game day because I've never been a big fan of games like Griddle or Scrabble. But, nonetheless, I persevered along with my team to do our best, and, in my opinion, our score in the end wasn't really THAT bad. So I'm quite content with it.

After that we did scrabble, which again, has never been my strong suit. But, I tried. In the end, when the other had competed their griddle and they won. But I wasn't frustrated since I still think my team did the best we could in my opinion.

For our next lesson, Ms Disa decided not to do the vocab quiz since it was only 1 period and instead, made us do a seatwork for the entire lesson. Even though the overall seatwork was quite simple, some of the questions made me think for quite a while for the answers, and I still haven't finished it yet, but will continue on our next lesson!

Well, that's all for this week, bye!

yet another blog for this week

yet again we do the thing where we type what we remember about the stuff that happened this week. So, there's not much tbh, there isn't much going on other than I picked up EP again since I think I'm suffering withdrawal with notoriety getting taken down and I'm cooking some video I made with someone showcasing some stupid shenanigans. So yeah is fine cruising so far (but so far)

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...

Aleena Imran - Blog #4 - Grade 8 :)

This week was quite enlightening. Our first lesson was very interesting. We got to learn about different school uniforms and what people wear to school. We started learning by listing as much clothing people wear to school as possible as a group work. My team was Dharanika and Summer who listed loads of words, sadly some of them didn’t count.  Following that, we discussed the parts of a uniform. I found this class super engaging as I got to expand my vocabulary in terms of clothing.  To pass a few more minutes, we wrote down what we were wearing. This session was a bit tiring and fun at the same time. The second day was more relaxing and refreshing. As we basically were assigned 1-2 words from Unit 4 and searched in the dictionary for their meanings. Which was pretty amusing and calm. After that, we did a crossword. Sadly, I wasn’t able to get my words in time as someone else had found it first. From there on, we all were tested about the definitions of our words. I enj...
