AEP- Blog #3.1

HELLO FOLKS! YEP, I'M BACK! SCARED? AS YOU SHOULD BE!!!

LET'S GET TO IT!

We had no school this Monday because it acted as a rest day for all of our hard work from the musical. So that meant we couldn't do AEP that day. However, school started again the day after and we had our AEP lesson on that day too. So I will be telling you the events that had happened on that fateful Tuesday.

12/3/2024

Since we only had one period, we only played word games the entire time. Also since there were 4 students who had their Cambridge mock exam, we couldn't do a vocab quiz either. Therefore we just played word games the whole lesson.

We all warmed up in the beginning of the class by playing Squaredle. There were 17 words left that were out of 117!!! Obviously that would be very difficult for us to do since that usually means that the words that were the hard ones, the ones I didn't even know exists!

So we only guessed a couple of words or so until we finally moved on to another game. Which was Contexto! It took us 71 guesses before we finally found out that the word was 'Fungi'. Yikes, yea, it wasn't our best contexto game, but at least we found the word.

After that, we did Octordle and it was a breeze for us. We used our strategy of using the words 'Salet', 'Gunky', 'Fjord' and 'Chimp', since they use almost all the letters and help us deduce what the word is more easily. The next games we played were 'Waffle' and 'Deluxe waffle'. And lastly, we played a new game called 'hello wordl', and it basically was Wordle but the twist is that we can choose how many letters we want the word we will guess have. For us, we did 7 letters. But since it was nearing the end of the period, we couldn't figure out what the answer was so we just guessed our fial answer to see what the word was. Turns out it was 'drastic'.

Well, that's all from me this time. See ya in the next one! BYE!!!

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
