AEP Blog #3.1 “A little DRAMAH!”

Welcome back to another super sweet blogger blogging day! Blog created by yours truly.

The past few months have been a chaotic mess of emotions and experiences, and as I sit down to recount it all, I can't shake the overwhelming feels of exhaustion and gosh am I dreading this(Okay, this sounds like a bit TOO much but to be honest it really was like this)

The highlight of the last few months was definitely the Musicale experience at Samsung Hall. Months of preparation and anticipation all put together for a preformance in the evening for family and friends. It coudlve been better if it wasnt for the timing, or the circumstance I guess. But regardless, the night was pretty interesting. A good way to meet friends you havent met for a while and to reconnect with the magic of preforming on stage.

Through the indefinite amount of schoolwork we are given. there is still A levels to worry about.I just wish it was something more to care, rather than an ultimate ending kind of thing. Like, oh apparently we cant help it but just be stressed for it in the last few months. Frankly it really frustrates me.

Amidst the chaos, AEP has been a healing place for me. Ms Disa’s classroom, with its timeless charm, gives us a warm hug despite the littul stuff happening outside☹️.So now we are focusing on vocabulary! (Well, it has always been this way throughout the year)

Currently, our focus lies on teenager-related vocabulary, with slang and expressions of teenagers from the UK in the 80s Im guessing. Its pretty interesting to learn words we know we will never use (and I mean never!) and have Ms Disa go on like “Oh this is OLD school!”These are words we used to say back in our days.

Eek, the school year is ending soon and that fact does not make me happy or relaxed at all. Since Ramadan is here, Ill try my best to give my all, but still this is surely going to be a bumpy road.

Thank you for reading dear readers! 🦦🌻

yet another blog for this week

yet again we do the thing where we type what we remember about the stuff that happened this week. So, there's not much tbh, there isn't much going on other than I picked up EP again since I think I'm suffering withdrawal with notoriety getting taken down and I'm cooking some video I made with someone showcasing some stupid shenanigans. So yeah is fine cruising so far (but so far)

Short. Sweet. Simple! - Chloe Lloveras- Blog 1 T1- AEP10

Back at it again! The new school year has begun and AEP along with it. But this year, it comes with a twist: a much more jam-packed schedule and more essay-writing. Did I mention that the vocabulary quizzes are back and that blogs will be more frequent now? No? Well, you're in for a treat!      We hadn't even met for the first session yet, but we were already juggling assessments like a syllabus quizlet, a "what's your English level?" test, and even a knowledge quiz about IELTS writing task one, something I haven't encountered before. When our first meeting did commence, it wasn't until a week later due to the heavy rainfall and strong winds so classes were canceled. As you might've guess, we were already behind and AEP hadn't even begun yet!  Before starting, Miss Disa established the basics for the new school year: 1. Every meeting will begin with a word game with a five-minute time limit. If we don't finish in time, we'll still mov...

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
