Don't leave us Miss - Haziq-4th blog

Happy late new years everyone , a lot has happened for the past few weeks and in this blog , I am here to recap everything and without further ado , lets begin!

During the first week , I myself could not believe i’m saying this but Miss Disa was absent . Shocking, right ? I myself was also shocked because Miss Disa was never absent regardless if she's sick or not , she would still go to school. With That being said , Miss Disa also left us with a couple essay and which afterwards when we are done , we are allowed to play wordle games. However , this was not possible since we just stayed in the class with the other student who took filipino. During the 1 period , i was able to finish 1 of the essay which is about the production of concrete.

On the next day , we were joined by Miss Jonna… as our substitute teacher. Luckily for us , Miss Disa prepared a word search to make sure that we are not bored for the whole 2 periods. During the first period , I was able to finish the other essay about cement production and right afterwards , I continue with the word search. Silly me , I thought this was just a fun word search so I didn't care much about the words but instead , it was the words for the next vocab quiz. While writing my essay , I could already here Miss Jonna testing the speaking and getting ready for the quiz bee later on for her period.

The next week, Monday , Miss Disa finally come back from her vacation. I was all ready for the class and also for the warmup until she realized the pc box was miss. Apparently , the pc box was switched with the pc box in our classroom which make sense because when we use the board , we can see all the warm up games in the homepage. I was sad with this news because we haven’t had our warm up game in what felt like years even though it was just a week. There is nothing else Miss can do except instructing us to review the words for the quiz the next day. I was somehow able to memorized at least half of the words during the period.

On the next day , I was waiting all the time , Squardle!!!.I was ready to play until Miss told us that we were doing the quiz first because she knew we were going to take a whole period for the warm-up. Nonetheless , I was still able to answer and get 10 out of 10. As for the first  word I got , it was “emaciated’ which means extremely thin , especially as a result of starvation.”Ardent” was the second word that I got which means burning with passion.Last but not the least , I got the word “inkling” which means a hint or a vague notion.Once we are finished with the quiz , we finally play Squardle.Following that , we wrote down an essay from Ielts which was dictated by Miss and we reviewed on how to properly write the essay.

Overall I was thankful that Miss was back because who knows who might be the substitute teacher….Please dont leave us anymore Miss 😭

And So It Begins...- Chloe Lloveras- Blog 3 T3- AEP 10

Maps have become my new enemy. I know this may sound dramatic, but I really just can't seem to like them. As an artist who loves anything related to colors and drawings, you'd think a map of all things would be right up my alley, but you'd definitely be wrong. The feeling of facing your adversary is like no other- this desperate thirst to defeat them, dying to be quenched. And so it begins... The day before the exam, we played "Squardle," but the joy it gave us upon completion was short-lived as it was replaced by the impending atmosphere of doom looming above us. I felt a pit in my stomach when I walked into the classroom the next morning. But I was prepared...or so I had thought. I only managed to score 87%, which in reality was actually a 77% because Miss Disa added 10 points to help bump up our grades. I barely passed really, but that doesn't matter now. When I had finished taking the exam, all I could think of was that it was finally over. I could relax...

AEP- Blog 3.3

Hello hello hello there! We meet again, for one. last. blog.  Woah, it has been a ride hasn't it. A year sure does go by fast. It seriously felt not that long ago that I had written my first blog of the year. Definitely did not feel like 9 whole months. Reading said blog made realize now that I had nothing to worry about after all. That I have been proven wrong about not having fun in AEP. Sure, the work has gotten a lot tougher and was doubled to what we had last year. But hey, we're in G8 now and that's to be expected, AEP or not. And we still managed to play word games, some old, some new, and challenged ourselves in the best way possible. The seatworks we had DEFINITELY challenged me this year. But I wouldn't say all of them were so bad, only some. I really enjoyed the vocab quizzes. It really did help expand my vocabulary, and now whenever I read a book and encounter a word from one of the quizzes, I get all excited cause I know what it means now. I feel a bit sad...
