Blog 2.2 - Fashion + Emotion = Hot Topic (Nurhanis Grade 12)

Right. We're back to this topic. It's more branched out now. We legit continued our discussion for the whole two periods. That's how fun it was. It was mainly a discussion about William's and Ayse's handouts. Even though it was their time to talk, the atmosphere was so chill that everyone could butt in and say what they think about the topic.

That was not the main topic. The main event took place during the second period. We practically lashed out our opinions on the school uniforms. I personally don't hate the idea of uniforms; in fact, I actually like it. I wouldn't have to think about what to wear everyday. I also agree that it helps students realize the environment their in. As a student myself, uniforms help us have our own identity. We're students, we go to school to study and learn. Uniforms helps to establish the fact that everyone is equal. I find it sad when most of us wear the school jacket just to cover up the pink or blue shirt. Our school uniforms should be something that we are proud to wear. Not something that we wish to hide. I feel like that's a mistake on the designers half.

I also find it interesting to how humans correlate colours to emotions. Like how were we brainwashed to think that red means mad or blue means sad. We did an activity where we wrote our own opinions to what emotions or objects does a certain colour represents. It's interesting how love can be both red and pink. To me, pink describes a more playful love like the dating stage. Red on the other hand describes a more passionate love like marriage stage. Even though people correlate sadness to blue, there are different shades of blue and each one of those shades means something different.

yet another blog for this week

yet again we do the thing where we type what we remember about the stuff that happened this week. So, there's not much tbh, there isn't much going on other than I picked up EP again since I think I'm suffering withdrawal with notoriety getting taken down and I'm cooking some video I made with someone showcasing some stupid shenanigans. So yeah is fine cruising so far (but so far)

Short. Sweet. Simple! - Chloe Lloveras- Blog 1 T1- AEP10

Back at it again! The new school year has begun and AEP along with it. But this year, it comes with a twist: a much more jam-packed schedule and more essay-writing. Did I mention that the vocabulary quizzes are back and that blogs will be more frequent now? No? Well, you're in for a treat!      We hadn't even met for the first session yet, but we were already juggling assessments like a syllabus quizlet, a "what's your English level?" test, and even a knowledge quiz about IELTS writing task one, something I haven't encountered before. When our first meeting did commence, it wasn't until a week later due to the heavy rainfall and strong winds so classes were canceled. As you might've guess, we were already behind and AEP hadn't even begun yet!  Before starting, Miss Disa established the basics for the new school year: 1. Every meeting will begin with a word game with a five-minute time limit. If we don't finish in time, we'll still mov...

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
