SURVIVINGG😀- Naboni(AEP10)_Blog: 2.2

Greetings and welcome back to another blog! How are you doing today? I can imagine you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything going on. Personally, I'm already feeling bogged down by the sheer number of syllabus and assignments piling up. Next week is looking especially daunting, with quizzes scheduled almost every day. And don't even get me started on midterms - I'm not ready at all to face those yet. But, if I'm being honest, the one thing that's keeping me going right now is the thought of the upcoming Christmas break! I miss being able to sleep🥲.

Well, let's talk about the AEP classes now. The previous two weeks have been really productive I would say.

On the Monday of the first week, we started the class with the usual warm-up game Squardle. With 3 people consecutively handing the magic pen that day(one of them being me), we only ended up finding about 50/65 words. And just like that, we started and ended the class with Squardle. On that day, we also got our paper back on the previous essay writing of a processed diagram. I was quite disappointed with the score as I expected it to be a bit higher. Yet, it was just the first time and it does improve along the way!!

The next day, we again started the class with Squardle. This time there were very few words to solve which we did quite quickly. After that, we moved to our new traditional way of doing the vocab. You already know how it works. We each get some words and then find out their meaning to answer the online test on the vocab website. But this time, instead of solving the definitions we put the correct word u the sentences. I think I find this way more as it means you just not only know the definitions but learn how to use them in sentences.

After that, in the second-period girls and boys were divided into two groups for group work for the processed diagram. But there was a twist in it! Instead of writing the essay, we heard Miss dictate an essay and both groups had to draw a diagram of the figure that involves the process of making cement using concrete.

We, the girls rushed through the diagram but thankfully, we had some great artists with us. The final diagram came out pretty similar to the original. The boys one was pretty impressive.

On the second week, on Tuesday, after several warmup games, we had our vocab quiz. Thankfully, I remembered the meaning of the word I got. Guess the last minutes of studies actually work!;) After that, we moved to essay writing. First, miss wanted to give us a diagram of the life cycle of a frog. But, she quickly changed her mind and we had to do another one of the processes of how raw milk is produced as a final product to the customer. I felt like my writing was way better than the first one.

That's it for now! Let's all look forward to the upcoming Christmas break as a much-needed opportunity to recharge and relax. And of course as well the exciting year end party and secret santa!!

Thanks for reading and take care!

Peanuts!! - Blog 2.1 - Aire M.

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the world of Blogger! I am your writer, Aire Marcellana, presenting to you a blog of quality writing, containing a girl's simple hopes and dreams. Hopes and dreams crushed knowing like 5 people reads these. I do still find fun in writing these, however, especially since I love to write. Our first few lessons in the 2nd term proved to be quite fun and entertaining to write about. I got a bit stressed on our first lesson, but all in all, a fantastic start to the new term. Reflecting on last term, although I did put effort into AEP, I didn't prioritize it as much as I should've, even if it is a minor subject. I am grateful I got a good grade, yet I have high hopes for the terms to come. 11/06/23 We started off our term 2 with some good old Squaredle . Grades 7, 9, and 10 have already paved the way to finishing the Squaredle by having already completed the easy words. With 63 out of 79 words settled, our class went on a journey to get all of th...

The "Queen of Vocab" - Blog 1.5 - Aire M.

Hello... to pretty much no one. Probably no one except Miss Disa reads these blogs, no matter how much effort I put into them. I really like writing these blogs, as they are my way of venting all my feelings and thoughts out into the void. With that being said, here's the blog :) Yeah, sorry for the short intro today. I'm feeling sleepy 😪   10/02/23 Today in AEP, we used the whole 5th period trying to complete Squaredle , and in the last 10 minutes, Miss told us we'd get 7 merits each if we finished. It didn't seem like a long way off, as we just had 14 words left. We didn't get the 7 merits, but we only had... 7 words left? Still pretty good. In the second period, Miss Disa explained how exams can trick you. Well, to be more specific, questions that, if you didn't read the instructions, you could get wrong. And those questions were very easy. All you had to do was read the instructions. But somehow, even the smartest people can get tricked. (Honestly, Summer,...

Congee — Leo's Second Term Second Blog

Writing this before and after hectic weeks is truly something to be excited about. It feels nice to have 2 days of unforgettable laxness before school savages into your brain and makes it as mushy as congee (or as foreigners call it, porridge). Honestly, seeing the to-do list for next week, my brain already is mushier than congee—you can even call it water. However, this is not the time to talk about the morbid demises in the future, especially before Christmas! Let's talk history! The first Monday after writing the last blog, we were given another . . . Squardle! With 65 words and 40 minutes on the clock, we did a whopping 50 out of the given 65, which is spectacularly not very spectacular! I do not recall any of the words unfortunately, but from what the others have said, it was tough for us. I guess we just had a bad day, because the next day . . . The next day, Tuesday, we were given another Squardle! Under 10 minutes, we unveiled 25 words, which we were able to start off our l...
