Nurin's AEP Adventure (Term 2 #2)

Hi again!!! It's me, about to dump everything regarding my past week. I must say that I have progressed A LOT since last week and I couldn't be more proud of myself. I did most work on the day it was assigned and has not yet leave my notes pending or incomplete. A little appreciation pat on the back for me please. But, above all that minor growth I can't help but think of the possibility of relapsing into bad habits. Ways to avoid that? I have no idea but I'm telling you I'm doing everything I can to steer away from that side. This makes me realize that procrastination was the virus all along, and all I had to do to keep my mental health from being 'abused' by school is just to complete works before it overloads. I hope my mental capacity is strong this term because there are goals that I want to achieve.

Anyways, AEP was yet again refreshing this week. We had a really open and breezy discussion about the connection of 'Fashion' and 'Psychology'. We all exchanged views on 'Uniforms' and its connections with people. It was honestly the best thing ever to be able to explore things that we don't normally talk about. Just talk and share your opinions together for an hour as a lesson? Sign me up.

Other than that, we also explored the theory of colors and how we associate each color with different emotions or any general thing. For example, a lot of us associated the color 'red' with 'love'. Can you blame us honestly? I'm pretty sure everyone would agree when we say that 'red' represents 'love'. It signifies a 'heart' and the intense feeling you experience when you love someone.

Okay enough blabs about 'love', I forgot to mention as usual, we had a warm up at every beginning of the class so that we wouldn't be literal zombies during our lesson. The game was challenging but us being the pros that we are completed it in under 10 minutes ;) Good thing we've been doing that for the past year because it definitely had grew on us and made us better players in any 'word' game!!

I think this is it for now. I'll reach to you with more updates on my growth and more dumps about AEP!! I enjoy doing so and I hope it will continue to inspire me to share more about myself to the world. Til then...

Love, Nurin.

yet another blog for this week

yet again we do the thing where we type what we remember about the stuff that happened this week. So, there's not much tbh, there isn't much going on other than I picked up EP again since I think I'm suffering withdrawal with notoriety getting taken down and I'm cooking some video I made with someone showcasing some stupid shenanigans. So yeah is fine cruising so far (but so far)

Short. Sweet. Simple! - Chloe Lloveras- Blog 1 T1- AEP10

Back at it again! The new school year has begun and AEP along with it. But this year, it comes with a twist: a much more jam-packed schedule and more essay-writing. Did I mention that the vocabulary quizzes are back and that blogs will be more frequent now? No? Well, you're in for a treat!      We hadn't even met for the first session yet, but we were already juggling assessments like a syllabus quizlet, a "what's your English level?" test, and even a knowledge quiz about IELTS writing task one, something I haven't encountered before. When our first meeting did commence, it wasn't until a week later due to the heavy rainfall and strong winds so classes were canceled. As you might've guess, we were already behind and AEP hadn't even begun yet!  Before starting, Miss Disa established the basics for the new school year: 1. Every meeting will begin with a word game with a five-minute time limit. If we don't finish in time, we'll still mov...

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
