Blog 4 - OCT 1 - Mysha M

I just realized I never submitted my blog sdklgjasd (WHOOPSIE DAISY) I wrote this on Oct 1 i promise Welcome back people! It's been a while since our last blog, and tons of new experiences have since accumulated. If I'm correct, we last left off on August 21. 41 days ago. Woah. A lot has happened since then: our first midterms, Buwan ng Wika, camping, yada, yada. Aside from all that, AEP still holds its spot as the highlight of most weeks, and in the time since our last blog, much more has happened in our cosy little class. Miss had introduced a new game called Squaredle! It's essentially wordle + word search, and it has to be one of my favourites so far. Our class devoured Squaredle it was the only game in which we all worked on, and with 11 people, that's pretty impressive.

The main issue I have with Squaredle though, is that it takes a crazy long time. A decently sized game could take up to one period, and even smaller ones use up roughly 20 minutes. I guess it's better than doing seatwork though. Actually, talking about seatwork, the stuff Miss assigned this past month has been a lot of fun. When we were on the topic of schools, she made us brainstorm all articles of clothing that would be allowed in the building (alas, not on Fridays for some reason). I argued my butt off. I swear, Miss was being hard on me and my 76 examples. Even with my many, many rejections, I enjoyed it. We also tried another way to expand our vocabulary. We tried out how the Grade 7 did their quizzes, which was a lot easier than ours. We were given 1-2 words that we had to learn the meaning of, then Miss would spin the wheel and whoever's word was chosen had to define it.

I'm loving AEP so far, I genuinely didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did last year, with all the additional new students, severe lack of scrabble, and Filiz leaving, but honestly, after two months of it, AEP is just as hype as ever. I'm so looking forward to the rest of the year!

Sigh, I really do need to learn my native language though. Sometimes I forget I'm a full Filipina.

yet another blog for this week

yet again we do the thing where we type what we remember about the stuff that happened this week. So, there's not much tbh, there isn't much going on other than I picked up EP again since I think I'm suffering withdrawal with notoriety getting taken down and I'm cooking some video I made with someone showcasing some stupid shenanigans. So yeah is fine cruising so far (but so far)

Short. Sweet. Simple! - Chloe Lloveras- Blog 1 T1- AEP10

Back at it again! The new school year has begun and AEP along with it. But this year, it comes with a twist: a much more jam-packed schedule and more essay-writing. Did I mention that the vocabulary quizzes are back and that blogs will be more frequent now? No? Well, you're in for a treat!      We hadn't even met for the first session yet, but we were already juggling assessments like a syllabus quizlet, a "what's your English level?" test, and even a knowledge quiz about IELTS writing task one, something I haven't encountered before. When our first meeting did commence, it wasn't until a week later due to the heavy rainfall and strong winds so classes were canceled. As you might've guess, we were already behind and AEP hadn't even begun yet!  Before starting, Miss Disa established the basics for the new school year: 1. Every meeting will begin with a word game with a five-minute time limit. If we don't finish in time, we'll still mov...

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
