Productive Week! - [Blog 2 Naboni-AEP10]

Greetings, y'all! Surprised to see me back so quickly? Just like I've mentioned before, there will be more frequent blogs, each every week! So I will quickly take you through all the endeavors we did during the last week in AEP. Buckle up and let's get started!

We started the first class of the week with a warmup game, as usual; Diffle. As challenging diffle might have seemed along with the strict time limit, we have grown quite accustomed to it. After the warm-up, there was time for the dreaded vocab quiz. One by one went in front of the board and spun a wheel of words and had to state their meanings and use them in a sentence. Adrenaline rushed in me as the quiz began, and I desperately prayed not to forget what I studied. Luckily, my word was "guise" and I knew the answer. By the end of the quiz, most of us had passed with a high score!

After the quiz was over, we were given to write the same IELTS Task 1 essay on British students from our last meeting. This time, while I was answering I could think a lot smoother than before and my writing came out pretty organized! There is still a lot to improve on in my writing and I am pretty sure it can be achieved over time and practice

The next day AEP started with another intriguing warmup game; EvilWordle. The game deceives you about the placement of letters, making it difficult to get the correct answer. However, we were able to solve it quickly. Later, Miss Disa taught us how to improve our essay-writing skills by using the chunking method to paraphrase essay prompts. We learned that we can turn verbs into nouns by adding -ing to them. Overall, it was a productive day where we learned many new ways to start an essay. We still had some time left, so we proceeded to do oral on DOGONews. The article that we read was about hammerhead sharks and was quite fascinating. Did you know these sharks use their gills to stay warm in the cold, deep ocean? After reading the whole article 2 sentences per person, we went around stating one point from it.

Overall, I can say AEP is continuing just how I had expected. So much productive and fun as ever! Looking forward to the upcoming week.
Till the next vlog, Goodbye!

yet another blog for this week

yet again we do the thing where we type what we remember about the stuff that happened this week. So, there's not much tbh, there isn't much going on other than I picked up EP again since I think I'm suffering withdrawal with notoriety getting taken down and I'm cooking some video I made with someone showcasing some stupid shenanigans. So yeah is fine cruising so far (but so far)

Short. Sweet. Simple! - Chloe Lloveras- Blog 1 T1- AEP10

Back at it again! The new school year has begun and AEP along with it. But this year, it comes with a twist: a much more jam-packed schedule and more essay-writing. Did I mention that the vocabulary quizzes are back and that blogs will be more frequent now? No? Well, you're in for a treat!      We hadn't even met for the first session yet, but we were already juggling assessments like a syllabus quizlet, a "what's your English level?" test, and even a knowledge quiz about IELTS writing task one, something I haven't encountered before. When our first meeting did commence, it wasn't until a week later due to the heavy rainfall and strong winds so classes were canceled. As you might've guess, we were already behind and AEP hadn't even begun yet!  Before starting, Miss Disa established the basics for the new school year: 1. Every meeting will begin with a word game with a five-minute time limit. If we don't finish in time, we'll still mov...

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
