Hello, Blogger - 7/8/23 Blog #1 T1

Finally, after much struggle, I successfully open Blogger. Thanks, Miss Disa, I almost pulled all of my hair out.

On our first meeting, We were given a simple introduction to what AEP this year would be like. Miss Disa taught us about her new system and a few of the rules, which differed significantly from last year. With the bigger class, our old mechanisms had to be changed, which was understandable, but unfortunate.
On our second day, I was grouped with Sid, Dharanika, Aleena, and Rayyan to complete the seatwork assigned. The work was nothing special, but it did bring me back into "school mode" and helped me visualize how the rest of the year would play out.

I can easily tell that this year will be much different from Grade 7. With an additional 8 new AEP students, our used-to-be small class will be a lot more bustling than last year. I'm looking forward to the new experiences though, but the fact that we aren't able to play Scrabble anymore was a huge bummer. Probably my least favourite change, among all things.

I'm excited to see what AEP has left for us to learn, with all the vocabulary quizzes and heightened focus on seatwork/reading, I can't wait to see what will happen.

Maybe we can play scrabble if we split the class...but it won't have the same vibe.
