This was by far my favorite week of AEP!  It is mostly because our first lesson was extremely fun and calm.  We had a game day which consisted of scrabble and griddle.  I enjoyed attempting to come up with the best possible words and locations to put them in with my teammate, Zahrah.  She was especially helpful in scoring us a lot of points.

Griddle was quite a challenge.  It was difficult for us to utilize our limited letters in the best way possible.  We were quite worried that we would score less than the other team, but eventually won.  To be entirely honest, as much as I tried to help, I didn't do much.  My surprisingly amazing group mates did most of the work, and it was entertaining to watch them do so.

The second day felt refreshing.  After mostly doing group related work in AEP, I was relieved that we could finally do things individually.  We spent the entire lesson answering a seat work, which I found easy.  What wasn't easy, though, was keeping my hands motivated to write more even as they grew tired.  Despite that, I felt it was a nice little session of AEP.

Word games, and individual work.  This week felt incredibly refreshing, as it was very different from the previous weeks.  It feels nice to do something different for a change, but I am also excited to return to our normal lessons.

  1. What's 'normal' for AEP? Lol. Solonseatwork is nice every now and then but lonely everyblesson, and it was only good because you had already understood it as a group.Imagine looking at it on your own for the first time...;)

And So It Begins...- Chloe Lloveras- Blog 3 T3- AEP 10

Maps have become my new enemy. I know this may sound dramatic, but I really just can't seem to like them. As an artist who loves anything related to colors and drawings, you'd think a map of all things would be right up my alley, but you'd definitely be wrong. The feeling of facing your adversary is like no other- this desperate thirst to defeat them, dying to be quenched. And so it begins... The day before the exam, we played "Squardle," but the joy it gave us upon completion was short-lived as it was replaced by the impending atmosphere of doom looming above us. I felt a pit in my stomach when I walked into the classroom the next morning. But I was prepared...or so I had thought. I only managed to score 87%, which in reality was actually a 77% because Miss Disa added 10 points to help bump up our grades. I barely passed really, but that doesn't matter now. When I had finished taking the exam, all I could think of was that it was finally over. I could relax...

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
