AEP Blog #1.3 “Slowing down and speeding up”

Hello there dear reader! Welcome back to another (well.. more like hopefully the first and last late blog) this was supposed to be uploaded a while back, but thankfully with the mercy of Ms Disa - I was able to have Saturday as my due-date. I am so thankful for that, my apologies Ms!

This week has been..rather tiring. I kid you not each subject teacher probably collectively decided to throw quizzes at us for this week and the next. Am I complaining? Yes. Is it understandable? Yes. This is because our exams are coming pretty soon, so I digress. (Hypothetically)

Upon writing this blog, because of my goldfish memory span — I checked padlet and looked through what we had done. My classmates usually write more in padlet than I do, so I honestly would want to thank them everyday for expressing their thoughts in an in-depth manner which frankly I should do too during padlet times. When I looked through padlet, it mentioned on how we went through our assessments given the previous meeting.

Right.

When it comes to seatwork. I don’t particularly despise it. I mean — we go through words that we probably wont use on a daily basis and then scratch our brains through complex word combinations, but this should be the fun part because who doesn’t like sounding smart and exceptionally using vocabulary to its max potential in our writing during first language english class. Its a win-win. I think the only reason why I may not like it is because my vocabulary knowledge is very limited — sure I read books but they are far from using such intense, brain boggling, imagery. So in the end of the day, it is a benefit to anyone.

I know this blog is relatively short, but this is all for this week. I should’ve written this earlier but here we are, in bed — with a rather sickly body. Thank you, seasonal flu! (On a side note though: Ive been going on a fitness journey — so hopefully that would help me with my rather weak immunity.)

Thats it for this one! See you all in the next.

AEP BLOG 3.1 - Summer Rose S. Valdez

The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of maps and musicals, and it's quite fun.          March 5, 2025 - I Went on A Vacation...Somewhere      We began with a unique warmup this time.  By turns, we all had to say a new place on the map.  Each person has to retrace the steps of all the previous and so on.  I did not do well, but I didn't jot down notes of everyone's locations on my notebook anyway.  It was a memory game.  Afterwards, Miss taught us how one can remember things by remembering a place they visit often - by associating the different keywords with different objects or areas.     After that, we moved on to worksheets.  These worksheets involved maps and places and tenses.  For some reason, I forgot the difference between the past tenses.  Thankfully, though, I remembered what passive tense was.  Simple English fundamentals like types of...
